Ford Dealer Fox Chase, PA
Â
Fox Chase, a northeast Philadelphia suburb, took its name from the Fox Chase Inn, established in 1705 to serve travelers and tradesmen coming through the area. It gained popularity as an area for the well-to-do when the railroad came through in 1876. City dwellers discovered they could build larger homes in more bucolic settings and commute to the city. The town is known for its many parks and interesting historical structures, dating from the Revolutionary War. The area is home to one of the few remaining active farms in Philadelphia County, Fox Chase Farms, which is used extensively by the Philadelphia School District.
