The recent implementation of tariffs on the automotive industry has started to significantly impact how manufacturers operate. Many automakers have been forced to idle production at their international plants and, in some cases, temporarily lay off workers in response to the new trade policies. However, Ford Motor Company is taking a different path. As a proudly American company with a rich history of quality domestic manufacturing, Ford is launching a new initiative that offers 2024-2025 model year vehicles—including gas, electric, and hybrid options—at the same discounted prices typically available to Ford employees.

This initiative, called the “From America, For America” program, was unveiled soon after President Donald Trump’s tariff increases, which include a 25% U.S. tariff on foreign-made vehicles, along with hikes on imports from various U.S. trading partners. These new tariffs are expected to drive up prices for American consumers across numerous industries, with some analysts predicting that car prices could increase by as much as $12,200.

The “From America, For America” promotion will be available from April 3rd through June 2nd, covering a wide range of Ford and Lincoln vehicles, excluding Raptor models, the 2025 Expedition, the 2025 Navigator, and Super Duty trucks. For those who have been discouraged from purchasing a new vehicle due to the price hikes caused by tariffs, this promotion offers a fantastic opportunity to get a new, quality vehicle at an affordable price.

"We understand that these are uncertain times for many Americans," Ford said in a statement to CBS News. "Whether it's navigating the complexities of a changing economy or simply needing a reliable vehicle for your family, we want to help."
