Fans of the Bronco vehicle family had better hold onto their hats for 2025, because the Bronco Sport is getting an upgrade! For the best performance both on and off the road, this small SUV is being revamped with improved capability, state-of-the-art new technology, and functional adjustments that are accessory-ready.
“Bronco Sport customers love the outdoors and go off-roading 3.5 times as often as the owners of competitive vehicles, and camping twice as often,” said Matt Simpson, Ford Enthusiast Vehicles general manager. “They want to know they can overcome obstacles that come their way, which drove our designers and engineers to push Bronco Sport to a new level of capability and performance to let our customers do more and have more fun off-road.”
Dedicated off-roaders will be excited to learn that a high-capability Sasquatch package will be offered on both the 2.0-liter Badlands and 1.5-liter Bronco Sport Outer Banks models of the Bronco Sport in 2025. With a twin-clutch rear-drive unit and locking rear differential, 29-inch 235/65/R17 Goodyear Territory All Terrain tires, a new Rally G.O.A.T. (Goes Over Any Type of Terrain) Mode, and class-exclusive off-road features like Trail One-Pedal Drive and Trail Control, there’s not much on a trail, dune, or mountain pass that can hold a Sasquatch Bronco Sport back.“There’s a Sasquatch for every Bronco Sport customer who needs that next level of capability and confidence,” said Simpson.
Other improvements to the 2025 Bronco Sport will help to bring it closer to the original Bronco. The renowned Bronco Bolts, which are ideal for modular accessories, will be included for the model year, as well as new front and rear bumpers and segment-exclusive integrated tie-downs that can be conveniently stowed in the fender and offer an additional point of fastening rooftop loads. "We know that Bronco Sport customers spend more on accessories than any other customer in the segment," said lead designer Dan Kangas. "With that in mind, we designed the 2025 Bronco Sport to encourage creative customer interaction with modularity and upfit points that make adding new accessories easier than ever."
These are just a few of the upgrades that the Bronco Sport will undergo for 2025! In November, the 2025 Bronco Sport Big Bend, Outer Banks, and Badlands will arrive in dealerships, with the Bronco Sport Sasquatch available for purchase in the first quarter of 2025.
