Ford Mustang is commemorating its 60th anniversary. The vehicle has been a constant presence on highways and racetracks around the world for the past six decades, earning its reputation for driving thrills and freedom. The Mustang is offered in 85 markets and is sold on six continents today, and the electric Mustang Mach-E, which is also offered globally, has been making a name for itself as well, offering instantaneous torque and zero emissions.

This year is unique not only because of the worldwide commemoration of Mustang's 60 years of sales, but also because of the global debut of the brand-new seventh-generation Mustang. Additionally, an incredible Mustang fan event, called Mustang Experience Center, at Charlotte Motor Speedway is marking the next chapter of Mustang history.

Both owners and enthusiasts can test out unique Mustang ownership experiences at this event over the course of the next year, plus get a first look at the limited edition 60th Anniversary Appearance Package.

This event also provides attendees with the opportunity to interact with Ford Performance race drivers, get up close and personal with Mustangs vehicles, such as the Mach-E 1400, and witness the full collection of racing Mustangs. Experiences such as ride-alongs in Mustang vehicles on drift tracks and on Charlotte's famous Roval will provide an up-close look at the car’s one-of-a-kind performance. A Pony Personalization Corner will even feature exhibits from RTR and other companies, providing owners with additional information about Mustang aftermarket products.

Mustang Experience Center will offer a retail store for Mustang merchandise, an aftermarket parts shop, a Ford Heritage Gallery honoring all 60 years of Mustang history, and conference space for corporate events. Because it's all about making wonderful experiences, much like the automobile it honors, the Mustang Experience Center is even able to hold weddings.

The Mustang Experience Center is scheduled to open next year. Ford Performance Racing School has even developed a new program called Mustang Unleashed for Mustang EcoBoost and GT, expanding on the Dark Horse Track Attack program. This program is among great peers at Ford, with similar trainings running at the Bronco Off-Roadeo, which just opened to non-owners, and the F-150 and Ranger Raptor Assault School.

“Mustang has always been about more than just the car; it’s the experiences that come with it, from road trips to track days to cars & coffee. Mustang Experience Center is poised to become a special gathering place for the Mustang community, weaving the spirit of the car and Charlotte Motor Speedway together to create new memories,” said Matt Simpson, Ford Enthusiast Vehicles general manager.
