The Mega Power Frunk, however, is about more than just the novelty of popping the hood to put your groceries away. It’s a uniquely well-equipped storage space. The frunk provides the capacity to carry up to 400 lbs of cargo, and at 14.1 ft3, it’s the largest front trunk available in all-electric pickup trucks.
The frunk is easily accessible via a wide range of methods. You can open it with your key fob, the grille-mounted release button, the FordPass App, the SecuriCode Keyless entry keypad, the dashboard button below the headlight knob, the center console touchscreen, or the service release inside the footwell, which is a helpful manual option if your vehicle loses power.
