In response to overwhelming demand, the Ford Motor Company has officially announced that they will be expanding the availability of the Bronco’s high-performance off-road “Sasquatch” package to both the Bronco two-door and Bronco four-door models. In addition, the package will feature a class-first manual seven-speed transmission option.
“The Bronco community spoke and we heard them,” said Mark Grueber, Ford Bronco consumer marketing manager. “Our team moved quickly to add Sasquatch with a manual transmission – another example of our focus on giving customers the best possible off-road vehicles and accessories that we can.”
The impressive addition makes the Ford Bronco Sasquatch package the only 4x4 with a seven-speed manual transmission and 35-inch off-road on the market when the vehicle hits lots in late 2021.
The addition of this new transmission configuration will unlock even more insane all-terrain capability for the Bronco, which is already expected to be the most capable off-road SUV of the past several decades.
“Capability is always a priority, and pairing Sasquatch with a manual transmission and available advanced 4x4 system gives it a maximum crawl ratio of 94.75:1, providing even more off-road capability across the line-up,” said Dave Pericak, Ford icons global director.
As excitement for the Bronco two-door and four-models begins to peak, Ford has also announced that the official build and price site for these models will go live in October.
