However, Ford has decided to market its new Mustang in a surprising new way; through ice cream.
Ford has announced a partnership with Coolhaus, a young but prospering gourmet ice cream producer. The product of this partnership is a new ice cream flavor and sandwich, called Orange Fury. The ice cream is named after one of the 2018 Mustang’s new colors. The sandwich, unfortunately, won’t be found in stores. The decadently flavored ice cream sandwich can be found at Coolhaus’ main location near Los Angeles and in some of their ice cream trucks in New York City.
The partnership comes as a surprising turn from the norm when it comes to marketing a new vehicle. It is refreshing, however, and seems to be working well for both parties. The Orange Fury could become a staple at Coolhaus. Orange Fury is not the only new exterior color that will be found on the 2018 Mustangs. In addition to the new signature orange color, you will be able to find the Mustangs in Royal Crimson and Kona Blue.
With these new colors, the new Mustang is sure to turn heads this fall. The sports car, in addition to its new colors, features a new engine replacing its V-6. The base engine for the new lineup is the EcoBoost 2.3-liter turbo-four. You will also be able to find a new transmission for the Mustang’s automatic models. The new transmission will be a 10-speed, releasing the previous six-speed transmission. Whatever color Mustang you find yourself in, it is sure to be built to perform.
