Ford Unveils New Limited-Edition Mustang


In conjunction with RTR Vehicles, Ford Performance unveiled a new-limited edition Series 1 Mustang RTR with distinctive stylistic and performance features to create a limited-edition pony car for 500 customers.


The Series 1 Mustang RTR is the brainchild of Ford Performance and RTR vehicles, an OEM+ performances vehicles company that specializes in Mustangs and F-150s. The vehicle will feature Ford Performance components — like Ford Performance suspension with adjustable sway bars — with signature RTR styling. The Series 1 RTR package, which will be available on any Mustang EcoBoost Performance Package 1 or Mustang GT Performance Package 1 model.


This exclusive package will come with a staggered wheel and tire package; a Performance Pack 1 spoiler and RTR gurney flap; an RTR grille with lighting, body and aerodynamics packages; custom graphics; RTR fender badges and more.


Vaughn Gittin Jr., the founder and president of RTR vehicles and a world champion drifter, said the collaboration between Ford and RTR Vehicles helps take Mustang ownership to the next level. Additionally, that’s also the primary goal of RTR Vehicles, which aspires to enhance the ownership of Ford vehicles by redesigning them to take on a whole new identity.

Ford says the collaboration helps to enhance the magic felt by Mustang owners across the world, as customers get the opportunity to own a unique, aesthetically-enhanced Mustang built to perform.
